Chicago Police Officer Shot and Killed on South Side, Homeowner Also Slain

A Chicago police officer was killed this afternoon in the South Chicago neighborhood along with another victim. The police evidence technician was reportedly shot in the head at 1:30 pm on the 8100 block of South Manistee Avenue, police said.
